1. How long does the dolphin-watching tour take?

The excursion typically lasts around 7–9 hours, depending on the package, tides, weather and activities selected.

2. Are dolphins guaranteed to be seen?

No. Dolphins are wild animals, and sightings cannot be guaranteed. The crew will search suitable areas while maintaining a respectful distance from the animals.

3. Can non-swimmers participate?

Yes. Non-swimmers can enjoy the boat ride and, where available, view marine life through a glass-bottom boat. Snorkelling is optional, and guests should inform the crew if they cannot swim.

4. Is snorkelling included?

Snorkelling is commonly offered as part of a marine excursion. Equipment availability and access to snorkelling sites depend on the package and sea conditions.

5. Is lunch provided?

Seafood or Swahili-style lunch can be included in the full-day package. Guests with dietary requirements should advise the tour operator when booking.

6. Are marine park fees included in the price?

This depends on the selected package. Please check the quotation to establish whether KWS entry fees are included or payable separately.

7. Is the excursion suitable for children?

Families can participate, subject to the boat operator's safety requirements. Children must be supervised by an adult and wear properly fitted life jackets.

8. What happens if the weather is bad?

The captain may adjust the itinerary, postpone departure or cancel the trip if sea conditions are unsafe. Rescheduling and refund arrangements depend on the booking terms.

9. Is hotel pick-up available?

Yes, pick-up can be arranged from Malindi, Watamu and nearby locations, subject to the agreed itinerary and transfer charges.
